Chicken Pop Pie

Ingredients
500g Olga’s Fine Foods chicken pattie
2 sheets short crust pastry
2 sheets puff pastry
1 egg, lightly beaten
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180°C. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- Cut three rounds, approx 10-12cm diameter, from each pastry sheet.
- Using the shortcrust pastry, place one pattie onto the pastry.
- Brush the edges with the beaten egg then place a round of puff pastry on top to cover the pattie. Using a fork, crimp the edges together to seal.
- Gently place pop pies onto baking tray, prick the top with a fork. Lightly brush the tops with a little egg.
- Bake in the oven for 20-30 minutes or till golden.
- Serve with fruit chutney for a casual lunch or a selection of vegetables for dinner.
