Chicken Patties with Crispy Roast Potatoes and Gravy
Ingredients:
- 1 pack Olga’s Fine Foods Chicken Patties
- 1 kg potatoes, roughly chopped
- Olga’s Fine Foods Divine Chicken seasoning
- 2 tbsp plain flour
- 2 cups chicken stock
- 2 tbsp butter
- Olive oil, for cooking
Method:
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (fan forced). Toss potatoes with olive oil and Divine Chicken seasoning until well coated. Spread on a large baking tray in a single layer. Roast for 25-30 minutes, turning once or twice, until deeply golden, crunchy, and crisp on the outside.
- Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add Olga’s Fine Foods Chicken Patties and pan fry for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden and cooked through.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add flour and whisk for 1-2 minutes until it forms a light paste (roux). Slowly whisk in hot chicken stock until smooth and lump-free. Simmer for 5–8 minutes until thickened. Stir in another sprinkle of Divine Chicken seasoning, to taste.
- Divide the crispy roast potatoes and chicken patties between plates and pour over the gravy, before serving.
